Ceeander Entertainment came to us looking for an ident that launches them properly.

The objective for this project is to create an animation to be used as an ident for Ceeander Entertainment, a film production company.
The short-length animation will span between 20-30 seconds minimum with 30fps, produced with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 FullHD on a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9.
The production company aims at stimulating the conscience of it’s audience by using the ident as an
introduction to it’s projects, capturing the senses and attention of viewers from the very beginning of every
production. In this case, the target group is basically anyone who patronizes the companies productions
or is priviledged to watch the company’s projects.
CONCEPT
Ceeander Entertainment is a Nigerian film production company set-up through a collaborative effort between two passionate film enthusiasts, both certified film directors, actresses and producers.
The company was primarily established to showcase and promote Nigerian culture to the world through film and documentary productions.
The concept for this project draws inspiration from African arts and culture. It synthesizes traditional arteficts and symbolisms with indigenous African themes to create a piece that resonates with the production company’s vision of producing films that project the African culture and its values to the rest of the world.
The production company works with dedication, commitment and innovation to enlighten the world with their
art of film making.
MOTIF / ELEMENTS
The motif integrates tribal and ethnic african elements into the piece, from colour palettes to
symbols and artefacts like masks. The company considers using this as a means to showcase the cultural affiliation of it’s vision.
Colors to be considered for the animation is inspired by the general motif of the animation, tribal African colors. Colors from brown to red, yellow, green, black and blue to some extent will be favourable for this project
The production company’s actual logo is type based, and since it’s just an animation for the logo, no new type will be introduced to the piece except what is represented in the logo.
